Project Overview

This project involves the construction of a new 3 span concrete bridge and approach earthworks and roadworks.

Project Characteristics

This contract includes;

• Traffic Management including road closure;
• Earthworks;
• Drainage works;
• Pavement and Road Furniture;
• Asphalt and Bitumen Seal; 
• Electrical Works;
• Bridge Construction incl. wider lanes to accomodate cyclists and a shared footpath;
• Sewer and water main works;
• Construction of a stormwater treatment zone;
  
• Installation of fauna fenicng on both sides of the road to shelter wildlife from traffic;
• Landscaping.

Key Project Outcomes

This project is being constructed to increase flood immunity, improve safety and accessibility for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists plus improve travel time reliability and freight connectivity to the Ipswich Motorway.
