Project Overview

This project involved construction of a new 6 span concrete bridge replacing the old timber bridge over Three Moon Creek and a new single span concrete bridge as an overflow bridge to improve flood immunity along this stretch of the Burnett Highway.

Project Characteristics

  • Unbound Pavements;
  • Asphalt and Bitumen Seal; 
  • Bridge construction;
  • Cast In-situ Piles;
  • Precast concrete deck units supply and erection;
  • Bridge railings;
  • Road furniture including guardrail;
  • Pavement Markings;
  • Landscaping.

Key Project Outcomes

This project improved flood immunity while also increasing motorist safety through this region on the Burnett Highway.
