Project Overview

This contract includes the replacement of the existing pedestrian bridge over Norman Creek and replacing it with a new 44m long Pratt Truss structural steel bridge.

Project Characteristics

This contract includes;

• Minor Earthworks;
• Demolition of the existing bridge;
• Piling - both bored and driven;
• Concrete substructure construction;
• Manufacturing of structural steel Pratt truss bridge;
• Erection of new bridge;
• Fit out of new bridge including roof;
• Service works;
• Dredging works in Norman Creek. 

Key Project Outcomes

This project will replace the old pedestrian bridge with a new improved structure for the safe passage of students, teachers and parents to and from the playing fields.
