Project Overview
This project is for the construction of four new concrete bridges within the Scenic Rim Council boundaries. The locations of the four bridges are:

Churchbank Bridge, Mutdapilly-Churchbank Weir Road, Mutdapilly
Tramway, Adams and Churchbank Bridges are jointly funded by Scenic Rim Regional Council and the Australian Government through the Bridges Renewal Programme Round Two. Camp Creek Bridge is fully funded by Scenic Rim Regional Council.
Project Characteristics
The works comprise of the replacement of the existing timber bridges by the construction of new concrete bridge structures with asphalt deck wearing surface and steel bridge railings. Three bridges are to be constructed off line with the existing bridge remaining in use for the duration of the works. The Tramway Bridge is to be constructed on line and at level so therefore includes the demolition of the existing bridge and approach works. The approach works on the other three bridges will be completed by SRRC crews.
Key Project Outcomes
When complete this project will improve flood immunity, traveller safety and asset longevity as well as significantly reducing maintenance costs to the Council.
